Want to eat yummy Mexican food and celebrate Mexican culture? Come to the Mexican Independence Day Festival this Sunday, September 16th! From 1-7 P.M. in the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing, there will be a great variety of Mexican food, music and dancing. You can enjoy all of the attractions for free, but be sure to buy a souvenir! The fair will feature artists and craftspeople selling their work. To get to the festival, take the R-5 to the Market East Station, walk to the 11th St. Station, then take the Market-Frankford Line to 2nd St., where Penn’s Landing is a short walk away.
