Next Tuesday, September 11th, you can see the movie version of “Rent” at the Bryn Mawr Film Institute for only $7. The event is billed as a sing-along, so bring your friends and belt out the tunes to this Broadway hit! The movie starts at 7:30, but come early if you’re an opera fan! La bohème, the opera upon which “Rent” is based, is currently playing at the Opera Company of Philadelphia, and cast members will perform a few songs before the movie begins.
