Heard about the highly controversial Palestinian-Israeli conflict?
Want to learn more about the origin and possible solutions? Jewish American Dr. Norman Finkelstein will be speaking on the topic Monday, April 15 at 6:30pm in Dalton 300
Norman G. Finkelstein received his doctorate in 1988 from the Department of Politics at Princeton University. For many years he taught political theory and the Israel-Palestine conflict. He is currently an independent scholar. His books, translated into more than 40 foreign editions, include : Beyond Chutzpah: On the misuse of anti-Semitism and the abuse of history (University of California Press, 2005; expanded paperback edition, 2008) The Holocaust Industry: Reflections on the exploitation of Jewish suffering (Verso, 2000; expanded paperback edition, 2003) Image and Reality of the Israel-Palestine Conflict (Verso, 1995; expanded paperback edition, 2003) The Rise and Fall of Palestine: A personal account of the intifada years (University of Minnesota, 1996). He is currently working on his new book entitled How to Solve the Israel-Palestine Conflict.
This event is sponsored by Voices for Palestine, a student organization, and the Middle East Department at Bryn Mawr College.
The event is open for free to the Tri-Co community and the public.

How about a trip to one of Philly’s greatest hidden treasures–the Philadelphia Magic Gardens! Walk through a twisting turning living mosaic museum filled with wonderful colors and awesome art. Then, head to South Street for some window shopping (or shopping shopping) and some food!

Cinedelphia Philly Festival!
Calling all movie buffs! The Cinedelphia Film Festival started April 4th, and runs through April 27th. Including movies, music, speakers and other fun events, the festival will feature a little something for everyone. Blossoms and cherries and spring…oh my!
Come to Sakura Sunday on April 14th! There will be lots of fun music, food, games, and even a 5K! The 5K is at 7 AM, and the festivities run from 10:30-4 at the Fairmount Horticultural Center.
