Mutter Museum

The Mutter Museum is a classic Philadelphia thing to do. Sorry if you Philadelphian experts already know about this one, but I think it’s an important thing to highlight. The Mutter Museum is a historical medical museum. Check out the study of medicine through the years and well-preserved anatomical specimens. Students with valid ID’s can enter for $10. It’s located on 22nd Street between Walnut and Chestnut. Here’s their website.

Delicious Food and Green Environment

Sometimes nothing is better than a burger. Or a shake. Or something equally amazing from the Shake Shack. It is conveniently located near Rittenhouse Square. Bonus? This restaurant was created in June, so you can be the cool one in your group that’s informed on what’s new in town. The decor is something that should be noted. The tables and floors are recycled historical mills in Philadelphia. Sounds pretty awesome to me. Here’s their website!

Want to Pay Homage to the Supremes?

Check out an exhibit on them in the African American History Museum (which is a pretty cool museum in itself, by the way…) that’s all about The Supremes. Some of their stage costumes are nothing short of a work of art. It lasts until Jan 30th and costs $10/adult. Here’s the museum’s website for more info.
