Hijabi Monologues!

Looking for something to do tomorrow night? Come to Rhoads Old Dining Hall at 7 pm to see the Hijabi Monologues! Modeled after the popular Vagina Monologues, the Hijabi Monologues is about the Muslim women headscarf–aka the hijab. There will be a brief Q&A session afterwards, in which audience members can ask the cast and a Hijabi Monologues Representative any and all questions they have–about the play, about the monologues, about the hijab, anything goes!

This is a one time show happening Saturday, March 22, at 7pm in Rhoads Old Dining Hall.

The Spring Japanese Music Festival

The Spring Japanese Music Festival is back at Haverford with the Tamagawa University Taiko Dance Group! Drumming combines with traditional Japanese dance to produce an exciting show with over thirty drummers and dancers! Their show will take place on April 4, from 7-9pm at Marshall Auditorium at Haverford.

“What Does It All Mean?”

The spoken word duo composed of two of the world’s top slam poets is coming to the Bi-Co. On Friday, April 4th they will be holding a workshop at Haverford’s Campus Center (Room 313) from 4-5 pm and then later that night they will have their show at Bryn Mawr’s Rhoads Old Dining Hall at 8pm. This is a must-attend event!

Their poetry explores the intersections of race, gender, ethnicity, and sexuality.
